Executive Summary

United Utilities engaged with EMCOR Ltd as principal contractor to carry out a complete refurbishment of Windermere House. This involved all building works and the upgrade of all mechanical and electrical works over two floors of existing office space, plantrooms and external roof plant areas.

GJH Scope of work

GJH were contracted to complete all insulation works to new and existing pipework and ventilation services within ceiling voids using phenolic section and paroc, insulation slab and ductwrap. GJH also carried out works within plantrooms and external plant areas using both phenolic and paroc fibre insulation, finished and protected with stucco aluminium cladding. All valves and ancillaries were insulated using bespoke grey silicone removable jackets. Other works also completed by GJH included the trace heating of all external pipes prior to installing insulation.
